Weekly SASĀ® Visual Data Builder schedules run a day earlier than expected in non-English locales


If you schedule a SAS Visual Data Builder query to run on a recurring day of the week, the schedule might run a day earlier than expected. This issue is likely to occur if theĀ User locale in SAS Visual Data Builder is different from the language of your middle tier and scheduling server, and the locale uses Monday instead of Sunday as the first day of the week.

For example, suppose that your middle tier and your scheduling server are set to English - United States. The problem would under the following conditions:

  1. In SAS Visual Data Builder, you set your User locale preference to English - United Kingdom. For this locale, Monday is the first day of the week.
  2. You create a recurring schedule for every Saturday.



  3. You click OK, and the Schedule dialog box indicates that the schedule runs every Friday instead of every Saturday.
