In SAS Enterprise Guide 8.4 and SAS Enterprise Guide 8.5, an issue occurs where commit timestamps that are displayed in the Git History view are inconsistent when you make commits in different time zones. Specifically, the initial commit is often displayed with a timestamp in a different time zone (such as GMT+0), but subsequent commits reflect the local time zone correctly.
This inconsistency causes confusion in understanding the actual order and timing of commits, especially when comparing timestamps between SAS Enterprise Guide and external Git platforms.
There is no workaround for this issue.
The issue is fixed in SAS® Enterprise Guide® 8.6.
