The "Get Values" option in the SAS® Enterprise Guide® Query Builder returns "The result of the submitted job could not be retrieved"


When using the Query Builder in SAS® Enterprise Guide® 8.6 Hot Fix 3 or Hot Fix 4 connected to the SAS® Viya® platform Stable 2026.07, the Get Values option might fail when you define a filter.

Instead of displaying the distinct values for the selected column, no values are returned, and the Query Builder displays the following error:

Error: The result of the submitted job could not be retrieved.

As a result, you cannot select values from the Get Values dialog box when creating filters in the Query Builder.

This issue is fixed in SAS® Enterprise Guide® 8.6 Hot Fix 5.
