When reading or writing to IBM DB2 from SAS®, you might receive the following error message:
ERROR: ERROR: [IBM][CLI Driver][DB2/LINUXX8664] SQL0206N "???" is not valid in
the context where it is used. SQLSTATE=42703
ERROR: Unable to add rows to table.
ERROR: General error
This problem occurs because of the IBM DB2 code. IBM has fix 37036 for this issue. After you install this fix to your 10.5 DB2 client, the db2level looks similar to the following:
