When implementing SSL/TLS for a SAS/CONNECT environment that is configured in the SAS metadata environment, you need to select SSL for the Encryption Algorithm Name field via SAS Management Console for SAS/CONNECT server.

However, SAS Management Console on SAS^® 9.4M8 (TS1M8) and earlier does not allow you to select SSL for SAS/CONNECT server.

A hot fix for SAS 9.4M8 will enable you to implement the SSL selection.
