After installing the SAS Enterprise Session Monitor agent, an insufficient authorization error similar to the following might occur in your SAS log:

After the SAS Enterprise Session Monitor agent is installed, each SAS session writes an events file into the esm-agent/events/hostname directory. However, if you do not have Write access to that directory, this error might occur.
To work around this error, grant the affected SAS user Write access to the esm-agent/events/hostname directory.
