In SAS 9.4M7, certain SAS products that contained Adobe Flash dependencies have been retired. Retired products must be removed from the SASHOME directory by using SAS Deployment Manager.
During the end of the upgrade process to SAS 9.4M7, the SAS Deployment Manager screen might incorrectly display an incomplete list of retired SAS products OR it might display that there are no products available to uninstall and that the deployment process cannot continue, as shown below:

NOTE: This issue affects only SAS 9.4M7 orders at revision 20w34. The issue is fixed in orders at revision 20w39.
IMPORTANT: It is critical that the configuration for retired products be removed from your existing SAS deployment first before uninstalling any retired products. If retired SAS products are uninstalled first, then it is no longer possible to remove their configuration.
Ensure that you take these steps before starting the upgrade process in SAS Deployment Manager:
IMPORTANT: If the configuration for retired products is not removed before upgrading, then stop and do not follow the steps below.
To enable SAS Deployment Manager to uninstall retired products, follow these steps.
Note: Follow these steps in the uninstall directory for each tier of the existing SAS deployment. Every instance of the older include.txt file must be replaced by the new include.txt file in step 4 above.
