The CDD Customer Risk Ranking flow fails at Deliver Events to Alert Service in SAS® Visual Investigator when de-duplication is disabled

If you or someone in your organization disabled de-duplication in SAS Visual Investigator, the CDD Customer Risk Ranking flow fails when you try to run it. The de-duplication setting is controlled via the eventDataStoreDisabled configuration setting.

Here is an example scenario:

In SAS Environment Manager, set eventDataStoreDisabled to true

set eventDataStoreDisabled to "true"

Note: To view the eventDataStoreDisabled setting, complete the following steps:

  1. In SAS Environment Manager, select Configuration.
  2. Set the View to Definitions and filter for event.
The eventDataStoreDisabled setting is configured within the sas.svi-vsd-service.event-store-settings.

Then, run a published CDD flow. The CDD flow will fail to deliver events to the alert service, as shown in the following Jobs page screenshot:

The CDD flow displays a "Failed" status on the Jobs page
