Starting in SAS^® 9.4M1 (TS1M1), a -204 Db2 error is not written to the log, the SQLXRC macro variable is set to -1, and the SQLXMSG macro variable is blank when the following are true:

• You query a Db2 table or view that does not exist.
• You are running on z/OS.
• You use explicit pass-through.

The only workaround is to use the LIBNAME engine instead of explicit pass-through.
