When a client successfully connects to the SAS Metadata Server using SSL or TLS, the following error occurs in the SAS Metadata Server log:

INFO: The peer application did not start SSL negotiations as expected.
ERROR:  Bridge Protocol Engine Socket Access Method was unable to complete the SSL related communication due to an error.

When the client initially attempts to connect to SAS Metadata Server using SSL, the error occurs, but the connection automatically makes a second attempt to connect and succeeds.

You can ignore this error for successful connections to SAS Metadata Server.
