When working with WebDAV mapped drives for use with SAS Life Science Analytics Framework 5.4.x, the Repository mapped drive always shows the “working revision”. For a checked-out file, the "working revision" is the file content from the workspace.

By enabling you to edit the Workspace file within the Repository mapped drive, you do not have to map a drive to the Workspace as well.

Note that the file changes are not made permanent within the Repository and do not show up in the Repository file when viewed in the SAS Life Science Analytics Framework application user interface until the file is checked in. However, changes made to the Workspace file are visible through the Repository mapped drive.

The original SAS^® Drug Development Desktop Connection tool (which is now deprecated and no longer supported) enabled you to right-click a file in the Repository mapped drive to check it out. Then, you could open and edit the file there from the Repository mapped drive (and right-click the file to check it back in), which was the natural, expected flow. 

However, without the right-click check out and check in functionality, it is not as obvious why the Repository mapped drive behaves as it does.  

The primary point to understand is that the repository always shows the "working revision", which might include content directly from the Repository. Or, for a checked-out file, the "working revision" is the content from your workspace.
