Microsoft Edge has a new security feature called enhanced security mode. You can find more information about this issue in this Microsoft article: Browse more safely with Microsoft Edge.
When this feature is enabled, it might cause SAS web applications to fail in various ways or to perform poorly. Certain parts of applications might not function or not be displayed at all. On some releases, applications might work but the user interface might have performance issues.
The quickest way to identify whether the enhanced security mode is enabled for a site is by observing the URL bar in Edge. If it is enabled, an Added Security tag appears beside the URL, as shown below:
To allow the SAS web applications to function, you must disable this mode for the site on which the SAS applications are hosted. To do this, it is possible to add an exception directly from the browser. Alternatively, if Edge is managed by Enterprise admins, an exception can be added using group policy settings. Both methods are documented in the Microsoft documentation linked above.
