Table filtering is inconsitent in SAS® Intelligent Planning

An issue might occur where filtering is inconsistent between the web application and the SAS Intelligent Planning Add-in when you work with planning forms that contain both read-only and data entry tables.

For example, this issue occurs when you complete steps similar to the following:

  1. Select a published form. (The example below uses the San Antonio form.)
  2. From the Planning Area, add a data entry table and a read-only table.
  3. Save.
  4. After you open the published form, navigate to the Details tab.

The data entry table displays the correct filtered result. (That is, San Antonio.)

However, the read-only tables do not reflect the filter. Unfiltered data is displayed.

  5. Open both forms in Microsoft Excel.

The expected behavior occurs. Both the data entry and read-only tables display the filtered results.

Workaround

If you require accurate filtering in a read-only table, use the SAS Intelligent Planning Add-In.
