"…Error fetching library. Cannot fetch data" appears when you open a table from the folders view but the library containing the table is checked out


After you check out a SAS® library in SAS® Data Integration Studio, another user might experience the following error after opening the table from within the library in order to view its contents:

This error persists as long as the library is checked out.

The workaround to open the table is as follows. Open the table from within a job. If no job exists, create one temporarily and then drag and drop the table into it.
