SAS® web applications unexpectedly display a "Sign In to SAS®" window after credentials are entered


After you enter credentials to log on to a SAS web application, you might unexpectedly see a message that is similar to this one:

Message saying: "You have signed in. For increased security, sign out and close your web browser when you finish accessing services that require authentication." A button says "Sign Out".

For example, you might be redirected to this message when you try to log on to SAS® Visual Analytics, SAS® Drive, SAS® Report Viewer, or SAS® Studio.

This problem can occur when you directly access SAS® Logon Manager. For example, you use a URL that is similar to this one:

http://demo.sas.com/SASLogon

Usually, this occurs because you have bookmarked a URL to SASLogon. To resolve this issue, modify the URL to point to a specific application, as in the following example:

http://demo.sas.com/SASDrive

Note: The previous URLs are just simple examples. Depending on your products and your deployment, your protocol might different or you might need to include a port number.
