The seguide.exe.config file contains a section that enables you to set the EGTMP, TEMP, and TMP environment variables. Those environment variables in particular are useful for changing the default location of the temporary directories that SAS Enterprise Guide uses.

However, when projects are automated, there is no way to set up those environment variables (or any others) automatically.
