If you attempt to submit any b* commands (for example, bjobs or bhosts), you might receive this error message:

lsb_init: Failed in an LSF library call: Unable to open file ego.conf

To circumvent the problem, set permissions as 755 for the LSF_TOP/conf/ego/ directory. In this directory path, LSF_TOP is the top-level LSF installation directory that is defined in the install.config file.
