"The 'name' column does not exists in rowset" error might occur when you access a SAS® table from PowerPivot for Excel


When you read a SAS table from PowerPivot for Excel 2013 via a SAS ODBC data source, the following error might occur in the PowerPivot for Excel Table Import Wizard:

This problem occurs if the SAS table contains at least one column with a label defined.

You can work around this problem by setting option=nolabel in the SAS server session.
