When you are connected to a SAS Visual Analytics Server in SAS Enterprise Guide, you might see one of the following errors when you try to open a SAS Visual Analytics report.
SAS Enterprise Guide. Cannot open “report_name”. Access from this device has not been enabled on the server.
- This error occurs when Whitelist is enforced on the SAS Visual Analytics Server and the SAS Enterprise Guide device is not added on the SAS Visual Analytics Administrator ► Mobile Device tab. For more information about correctly using whitelists and blacklists, see “Enable or Prevent Access by Using the Whitelist and Blacklist.”
SAS Enterprise Guide. Cannot open “report_name”. The server has blocked access to this device.
- This error occurs when Blacklist is enforced on the SAS Visual Analytics Server and SAS Enterprise Guide device was added in the Blacklist.
SAS Enterprise Guide. Log on failed. The user ID or password is incorrect.
- This error might occur if single sign-on on is enabled in your environment. Currently, metadata connection profiles do not support single sign-on configuration.
The SAS Enterprise Guide log file (SAS KB0036457) might contain this error:
