A SAS Visual Analytics horizontal bar chart sort order is displayed incorrectly under the following scenario: 

• You use a horizontal view for a bar chart.
• You assign a Group category to the bar chart.
• You apply a Sort Order on the X axis GroupBy category variable.

The example below shows DriveTrain displayed with a descending sort order. Notice that although the legend for DriveTrain is displayed correctly, the bars in the chart do not reflect the declining sort order:

A workaround for this issue is to display the bar chart with a vertical view.
