In SAS Studio, a Compute Server error occurs when you try to open a folder on an NFS location that contains a very large number of files:
This error occurs when both of the following conditions are met:
- Access or expand folders with a large number of files.
- The folders are located on NFS-mounted storage.
Workaround
To work around this issue, split the folders so that the number of files in each folder remains below ten thousand.
