The PDS procedure has been reported to get system abend 213-3C under z/OS after you upgrade to CA Compress 5.5.

When you encounter this problem, the SASLOG shows the following error message:

ERROR: System abend 213 occurred outside of the SAS environment.

In addition, the JOB LOG shows the system message (reference MVS System Messages for details of the message):

IEC143I 213-3C,IGG0191A,jjj,sss,ddname,dev,volser,dsname
