When you install SAS 9.2 (TS2M0), an error message might appear when you access a SAS Software Depot on a non-native file system or if the directory path has more than 260 characters. For example, this message might display if you access a SAS Software Depot from Windows on a UNIX file system:

When you examine the sasinstall.log file (for example, c:\program files\sas\installmisc\installlogs\9.2\sasinstall_10062009_092513.log), you might find the following error message:
PROCFILES: --> The following error occurred while installing c:\program files\sas\sasversionedjarrepository\9.2\eclipse\plugins\sas.finserv. creditfraud.authentication. commonlogon.nls_300200.0.0.20090930190000_ d2rapt30\sas.finserv.creditfraud.authentication.commonlogon.nls.jar: -2147024894, The system cannot find the file specified.
