When you attempt to change a data source in a SAS Visual Analytics report, you might see the following error:

The action to change the data source [data source name] to the data source [data
source name] was not successful.
The following errors were encountered.
Error while retrieving metadata about the replacement data source.
Data source replacement failed.

This error can unexpectedly appear if the data source contains only one column. As a workaround, add a dummy column to the data source. You do not need to use the dummy column in the report.
