Enabling the ARM log in a SAS® 9.2 OLAP Server and later

The following steps can be used to enable ARM logging for the SAS OLAP Server. "SASApp" refers to the default name for the SAS application servers. Your environment might use a different name.

  1. Open SAS Management Console.
  2. Expand Server Manager ► SASApp ► SASApp - Logical OLAP Server.
  3. Right-click SASApp - OLAP Server and select Connect.
  4. In the right-hand pane, select the Loggers tab.
  5. Locate the Perf.ARM.OLAP_SERVER logger. (Tip: Click on a column header to sort by that field.)
  6. Right-click on the logger and select Properties.
  7. From the drop-down list, set the assigned level of the logger to Information.
  8. Click OK to start capturing an ARM log.
