It is not possible to upload a file larger than 2 GB in SAS Studio 2025.06 or later.

If you try to upload a file that is larger than 2 GB, the following message might occur:

The selected files have been successfully uploaded to SAS Server.

However, this message is incorrect. Files greater than 2 GB will not upload.

Workaround

To circumvent this issue, do either of the following:

• Use commands on the operating system to transfer the file to the desired location on the server.
• Break up the original file into files that are smaller than 2 GB and upload them individually.
