You cannot redeploy SAS® OnDemand Decision Engine when more than 49 SAS sessions are configured


The command to redeploy the SAS OnDemand Decision Engine fails when 49 or more SAS sessions are configured. The SAS OnDemand Decision Engine can start successfully with this configuration, but when you run the redeploy command for the first time, it reports this error in the ode.log file:

2020-10-19T16:19:42,726 [RMI TCP Connection(5)-30.133.16.129] ERROR OSE redeploy 0.1 failed

com.sas.finance.fraud.engine.client.ConfigurationException: Could not find unused shared memory key: 5142-5167

To work around this issue, configure fewer than 49 SAS sessions. You can do that by updating the ose.properties file to set the SAS_PROCESS_COUNT property to a number that is smaller than 49.
