Trying to register a Teradata table in SAS® Management Console or SAS® Data Integration Studio might result in errors


In SAS Management Console and SAS Data Integration Studio, if you try to register a Teradata table that contains a column that is defined with a data type of ST_GEOMETRY, CLOB, BLOB, or XML, an error similar to the following occurs:

ERROR: No rows returned by columns query for table xxxxx, no columns returned.

The problem occurs because the SAS/ACCESS® Interface to Teradata product currently does not support these data types.
