Starting in SAS^® Viya^® LTS 2025.01, a join of two or more BigQuery tables might not be passed to the database for processing if the BigQuery tables are in different projects. As a result, slower performance occurs because SAS reads the BigQuery tables into SAS and processes the join and anything else requested in the query. 

Workaround

To work around this issue, use explicit pass-through.
