Problems might occur when using SAS Enterprise Guide with dual monitors. For example, the following problems might appear to occur:

• a performance problem with the query builder or other task
• a code or a task is hung
• SAS Enterprise Guide is locked or not responding.

To circumvent the problem, press Alt+Spacebar+M to activate a window. Then, use the arrow keys to move it to a visible location.

If the above steps do not work, try the following:

1. Press Alt+Spacebar.
2. Press the down arrow.
3. Press Enter (this action will put the window into move mode).
4. Press the right arrow key (this action will tell the OS that you are moving the window).
5. Move your mouse around and see whether the window becomes visible.

In SAS^® Enterprise Guide^® 8.1 and SAS^® Enterprise Guide^® 8.2, you can reset the windows to the default layout by completing the following steps:

1. Select View.
2. Click Reset to default layout.
3. In the pop-up window, select Restore.
