Problems might occur when using SAS Enterprise Guide with dual monitors. For example, the following problems might appear to occur: 
- a performance problem with the query builder or other task
 - a code or a task is hung
 - SAS Enterprise Guide is locked or not responding.
 
To circumvent the problem, press Alt+Spacebar+M to activate a window. Then, use the arrow keys to move it to a visible location.
If the above steps do not work, try the following:
- Press Alt+Spacebar.
 - Press the down arrow.
 - Press Enter (this action will put the window into move mode).
 - Press the right arrow key (this action will tell the OS that you are moving the window).
 - Move your mouse around and see whether the window becomes visible.
 
In SAS® Enterprise Guide® 8.1 and SAS® Enterprise Guide® 8.2, you can reset the windows to the default layout by completing the following steps:
- Select View.
 - Click Reset to default layout.
 - In the pop-up window, select Restore.
