Saving campaigns in SAS® Customer Intelligence Studio returns the message, "Error connecting to a needed service"


If you update the permissions page and save campaigns in SAS Customer Intelligence Studio, the following error appears in the user interface:

Error connecting to a needed service. {0}

In this scenario, the CI Core log contains the following error message:

com.sas.ci.services.common.error.CIException: Error connecting to a needed service. {0}

Caused by: java.lang.NullPointerException
      at com.sas.analytics.crm.cm.ejb.CampaignProxyImpl.updateAccessControls
(CampaignProxyImpl.java:1522)

 

There is no workaround for the problem.
