In SAS^® Rules Studio, a rule that depends on 300 or more other rules takes too long to open in the Testing and Production folders. Also, after you click the rule to open it, no busy indicator is displayed to inform you that the operation is in progress.

An example of a dependency is when a rule calls the %HASRULEFIRED macro to determine whether a different rule has already fired.
