The Alert Destination value is lost when you move a rule from Testing to Coding if the deploy_testing_rules_ind property value is true


In a rule that creates an alert, the Alert Destination is set to a queue name in the Configure Alerts window. If the deploy_testing_rules_ind property is true, the Alert Destination value is lost when you move the rule from the Testing folder to the Coding folder. As a result, an error message occurs when you later attempt to promote the rule to Testing.

The deploy_testing_rules_ind property value is set on the Preferences tab, under System Properties ► Deployment.
