Applying a hot fix that contains updates for multiple operating systems displays all operating systems during installation


SAS® 9.3 hot fixes might contain updates for multiple operating systems. When applying these hot fixes, all operating systems are displayed in the SAS Install Tool window, as shown in the following image:

The Install Tool will apply only the updates appropriate for the operating system on which the hot fix is being applied. The following message will appear for the other operating systems:

      This hot fix can not be applied on the current platform
