Beginning in SAS^® 9.4M8 (TS1M8), if you are running on z/OS and TLS is configured, out-of-memory conditions might occur in the SAS/CONNECT spawner. This issue can occur in an interactive, batch, or batch/server SAS environment.

Symptoms of this issue include the following:

• Out-of-memory conditions in the Language Environment (LE), such as pthread_create: EDC5132I Not enough memory. (errno2=0xC112001E).
• A S0C4 abend occurs. 
• The SAS/CONNECT spawner is suspended and is unresponsive.
