Jobs scheduled via operating system scheduling in SAS® Management Console can fail to trigger on Microsoft Windows Server 2016 and later

Operating system scheduler jobs that are scheduled via SAS Management Console to a Microsoft Windows Server 2016 or 2019 installation might fail to trigger. This issue occurs after the Microsoft patches KB4091664 and KB4467691 are installed.

These jobs are created in Windows Task Scheduler but are not run by the Task Scheduler because the Configure for selection for the task is Windows Server™ 2003, Windows® XP, or Windows® 2000.

Workarounds

  1. Remove the affected patches.
  1.  Correct the jobs manually in Task Scheduler.
