Trying to create a Google BigQuery table might result a table with in no rows. No error message is reported to indicate that a problem occurred when the following is true:

• You are running SAS^® 9.4M8 (TS1M8).
• You are using the BULKLOAD=yes option on either the LIBNAME statement or as a data set option on the BigQuery table that you created.
• One of your character columns contains a binary zero (‘00’x).

Workaround

To circumvent this issue, removing the binary zero from the data if it is not required, or do not use the BULKLOAD= option if you want to keep the character.
