Using the OBS= data set option with SAS/ACCESS^® Interface to Microsoft SQL Server to Azure Synapse database limits not only the number of rows but also the number of columns. This is true until the value for OBS= is equal to or greater than the number of columns.

Workaround

If you want to use all of the columns, the OBS= value must be equal to or greater than the number of columns.
