The SAS Life Science Analytics Framework Macro API 2.7.1 client is available for use with SAS Life Science Analytics Framework Java API 2.7.1.

Note that the Java API 2.7.1 is available with only SAS^® Life Science Analytics Framework 5.4.3.

Notes 

• Version 2.7.1 of the Macro API client DOES NOT represent a replacement for the 2.7 version. Macro API version 2.7.1 is intended for use with SAS Life Science Analytics Framework 5.4.3, and Macro API version 2.7 is intended for use with SAS Life Science Analytics Framework 5.4.2.
• The 5.4.3 release of SAS Life Science Analytics Framework ships with SAS^® platform version 9.4M9 (TS1M9), which contains a Java Version update (Java 21).
• For guidance about SAS Private JRE updates for SAS^® 9.4M9 (TS1M9), see SAS Note 56203, "Downloading the SAS^® Private Java Runtime Environment version 7, version 8, or version 11 update for SAS^® 9.3 and SAS^® 9.4."
• API 2.7.1 clients will require JRE 17 or higher.

Additional Notes

There are no new feature enhancements contained in, or defects addressed by, the Macro API 2.7.1 client. The updated package simply represents a port of the software to be compatible with SAS Life Science Analytics Framework Java API 2.7.1 and SAS Life Science Analytics Framework 5.4.3 containing SAS 9.4M9.
