If you copy a cell from Microsoft Excel and paste it into Microsoft Word by selecting Paste Special as Microsoft Excel Worksheet Object, then Microsoft Excel will not respond when you attempt to close it, and the following warning will eventually appear.

As a workaround, disable the SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office in Microsoft Excel before pasting the content to Microsoft Word. This problem occurs in both Microsoft Office 2007 and 2010.
