You notice that a machine that is called sas-cachelocator-0 is on the SAS Environment Manager dashboard:
The below command confirms the machine is present, and it shows an additional node called sas-cachelocator-0:
/opt/sas/viya/home/bin/sas-bootstrap-config catalog nodes
The new machine appears either during a new deployment or after you apply hot fixes or upgrade your SAS® Viya® environment.
This behavior does not pose any issue for your environment. The machine is related to the SAS Cache Locator service.
