In SAS® Viya® 3.5, when you schedule a job, and the start time is set for the top of an hour (for example, 13, or 1:00 pm), the start time of the first instance of the job might not align correctly with that hour. Instead of the first job occurring at 1:00 pm, it occurs instead at an earlier unexpected time, or it might occur right after you save the trigger. This problem occurs in these circumstances:
- The job is set to repeat at intervals after a certain number of minutes (for example, every 5 minutes).
- The End field selection is After number of times, as shown here:
However, if the End field selection is Never or On date, the first and subsequent jobs run at the expected, scheduled times.
