When you use the SAS options EMAILSYS=CSSMTP and CAPSOUT, an internal SAS option BYCAPSOT is set.

In SAS 9.4M8 on z/OS, the following error might occur when you use ODS to write email to FILENAME EMAIL file reference even if the CAPSOUT option is not set:

ERROR: Invalid option name BYCAPSOT
