The SAS® Financial Management 5.62 web application logs do not contain the expected solution's information


In SAS Financial Management 5.62 on SAS® 9.4M8 (TS1M8), the web application logs do not contain the information for the specified solution. 

The default XML files associated with SAS Financial Management, which are stored in the <SASConfig>\Lev1\Web\Common\LogConfig path, do not contain the loggers to manipulate the logging level of the web application. 

Workaround

To circumvent this issue, complete the following steps:

  1. Create a copy of the original files in the <SASConfig>\Lev1\Web\Common\LogConfig path.
  2. Download the XML files from this KB article.
  3. Save the XML files in the same path (<SASConfig>\Lev1\Web\Common\LogConfig) to change the original files.
  4. Restart the SASServer3_n and SASServer4_n to activate the new logger configuration.
