The following error might occur when you open a form in Microsoft Excel and select the Save Form Design function in the SAS^® Financial Management Add-In for Excel toolbar.

Save Template failed

The issue occurs even if you satisfy the following conditions:

• You are part of the SAS^® Financial Management authors.
• You have the "Financial Management: Form submitter" role in SAS^® Management Console.
• You have the "ROLE_ADMIN" role in the Authorization workspace. (See the Publish section under Form Set Options in Form Sets View for more information.)

In addition, when you activate the SAS Financial Management Add-In for Microsoft Excel, the following message occurs:

System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHeaderException: JTA transaction unexpectedly rolled back (maybe due to a timeout)

How to Identify This Issue:

To reproduce the issue, complete the following steps:

1. Create a new formset in SAS Financial Management Studio with a data entry table and click Save.
2. Open the associated forms and then select one form to open it in Microsoft Excel.
3. In the SAS Financial Management Add-In for Microsoft Excel toolbar, select Save ► Save Form Design.

Workaround

This issue will be fixed in a SAS^® Financial Management 5.62 hot fix.
