You are still able to add images to the SAS Visual Investigator image control and image carousel control defined on an entity page, even if these controls are marked as read-only.

For example, this issue occurs when you complete steps similar to the following:

1. Log on to the admin application.
2. Create a new entity.
3. Add an image category to the entity via the Settings tab and select the Allow multiple check box. 
4. Create a new page for the entity.
5. Add the Image Carousel to the page.
6. Click the image carousel, and on the right pane, select the Read Only check box.
7. Click Save.
8. Log on to the User application.
9. Create a new object from your newly created entity.

There is no workaround for this issue.
