In the navigation pane of SAS Studio, shortcuts to folders are supposed to be displayed in the Folders Shortcuts ► My Shortcuts directory and be selectable as a destination in the Select a Location window that opens when you invoke the “Copy to” or “Move to” functions on any object.

However, since SAS^® Studio 2025.06 to SAS^® Studio 2025.12, the following behavior is observed:

• If the destination is a shortcut to a folder in SAS Server, when you expand Folders Shortcuts ► My Shortcuts, no content is displayed in the navigation tree.
  
  You need to click My Shortcuts and select or navigate to the content that is displayed in the right part of the window:
  
  
  
  
• If the destination is a shortcut to a folder in SAS Content, it will be visible in Folders Shortcuts ► the My Shortcuts tree. However, the following error occurs when you select any folder under the My Shortcuts tree: The folder cannot be selected. Select a different folder.

The only destination folder that is selectable is My Shortcuts.

The behavior of the “Select a Location” window has been fixed starting with SAS^® Studio 2026.01.
