After you upgrade to SAS® 9.4M8 (TS1M8) or SAS® 9.4M9 (TS1M9), the performance when accessing Metadata Bound Libraries (MBL) might slow down due to a STOREDPASSWORDS change.
This issue occurs due to changes in which MBL passwords are stored.
To circumvent this issue, use a different STOREPASSWORDS strength and re-encrypt the MBL. For more information, see Downgrade Stored Passwords.
