Applying a custom application theme might cause SAS Web Applications to render incorrectly.
For example, when you access the SAS® Visual Analytics Designer, the interface loads as follows:
- A window with a black half circle is displayed briefly.
- Then, the SAS Visual Analytics Designer web application incorrectly renders. The interface appears distorted or incomplete.
The rendering issue occurs in the following SAS web applications:
- SAS® Theme Designer
- SAS Visual Analytics Designer
- SAS Visual Analytics Viewer
- SAS Visual Analytics Administrator
- SAS® Graph Builder
- SAS® Visual Data Builder
- SAS® Environment Manager Administration
Workaround
To temporarily circumvent the second issue (that is, the incorrect rendering of the SAS web application), revert the custom application theme back to a predefined SAS application theme by appending the following parameter to the application URL: ?sap-ui-theme=sas_corporate
Example
If you modified the theme in SAS Theme Designer, adjust the URL as follows:
- Original: http://servername/SASThemeDesigner/
- Updated: http://servername/SASThemeDesigner/?sap-ui-theme=sas_corporate
This adjustment restores correct rendering for SAS Theme Designer. After the application loads properly, update the theme via the Settings to one of the predefined SAS application themes. Then, refresh the browser.
