The TextArea component can accept content that exceeds the maximum size of the custom field that it is linked to. This issue occurs when you enter text that is very close to the field's maximum limit and is commonly related to line breaks within the entered text.
When you export the custom field value for a data load and use the resulting Microsoft Excel file to load the data back into the SAS Risk Governance Framework database, the data loader rejects the rows with an error message that says "the length of the provided text exceeds the maximum allowed limit."
To circumvent this issue, review the data loader content length for each text field and make sure that the content is below the allowed limit.
